YES! YEEEEEEEEEEE—Anyways.
The MC's development and inner thoughts drove me insane (in a good way). I reread this quite often because the art style corresponds with the characters' emotions.
Of course, there are some heavy topics that you'll notice in the beginning, but despite that, the way how the MC copes is just... terribly perfect. This doesn't feel too heavy because of the fluff and comedy, but it doesn't erase how the MC learns how to open up and try to move on (in a HEALTHY WAY).
The main relationship makes me scream into my pillow out of pure happiness. They're absolutely tooth-rottingly sweet, and I adore them for it.
I didn't expect it to be soooo good
It has a lot of fluff and almost no drama.
Characters are well written and the setting of the story is quite interesting
It's worth keeping in mind that it has A LOT of s*x scenes, 'cause some people might not be comfortable with it and the others, we'll... quite the opposite (just like me, hehe)
Yes— just yes, you should read it. Just— just read it. I promise it's worth it.
The development isn't hasty. They both change in their own ways with how they see each other, and it's also pretty realistic. There is a lot of wholesomeness and found family that makes it ever so sweeter.
Some of the bumps along the way are also realistic situations that don't make me feel that this is a very exaggerated story meant to just capture readers with certain scenes but to actually enjoy the continuation of the plot.
Overall, it's heartwarming, and one of the best reads you can have. <3
It's been a horrible rollercoaster of emotions throughout, but the development between the two took a turn I wasn't expecting at all. There are some parts that I'm not entirely sure how to feel about, but I guess it varies between readers, so I won't comment on them.
The 'lore' of both MCs is practically beyond me, so I suggest you don't skip ahead if you want to make sense of how they are (personality-wise)... but other than that, I'm pleasantly surprised with the pacing.
Also— both MC's starting points will probably make you want to throw whatever device you're reading on, so beware of trying to get through that and into the actual changes (character development that we love).
Surprisingly, this is relatively... slow-paced (no major time skips and ageing at this point 'chapter 95), but I still enjoy it.
The amount of father-daughter relationship moments warms my heart, and I like how the MC doesn't remind me of other tropes that are similar because of how different her personality is and how it reflects her actual mental age (which is quite the plus point since it makes her reactions more reasonable).
Fair warning, because of the pacing, if you're looking for some romance then this isn't suitable for you as of right now— you might want to wait a little more before it starts (I'm not even sure if there is one cause I haven't read the novel yet).
It's still ongoing, but I definitely recommend it. The MC is absolutely adorable, and each time he develops more character, I feel nostalgic. It somewhat reminds me of Solo Leveling in the concept of how the MC started, but the actual reason behind it did shock me (in a good way). But the biggest reason I recommend it is the world-building and character studies (minimal amount in the grand scheme of things, but the pacing is lovely, nothing too fast or insanely slow).
Suppose you're interested in reading about an MC with a lot of character development, proper strategic thought processes, and a hint of found family. In that case, this should be at the top of your 'To Be Read' list.
