You know what, I really tried to be understanding, with the heartbreaking past and mc's circumstances..but this is beyond disturbing. MC himself acknowledged, that he always seen ML as his past lover. He can't let go of the past, i know that, but he has been with the current ML reincarnation from day one, literally, from the day he was born in hospital...and even with that fact, and how ML is severely uncomfortable, he still makes inappropriate demands and wishes. This is genuinely disgusting. At this point, I don't care about the past, or that MC is sort off immortal, or that ML was his lover in past..even with that, life goes on, and MC was there since get go to raise ML. ML sees him as family, and is being coerced to agree to his wishes, because he feels bad. I don't understand what went thru the author's mind, to write such things and try to portray it as romantic, and the company that approved this. There is a limit to fiction, this goes to the fetishization, and some things shouldn't be written, romanticized, brought to life.. it's like everything people tried to fix is ruined by people making a fiction about disturbing themes, just so they could feed they dirty desires. If you like the story dynamic, and are always trying to find a reason to understand it and excuse it due to the fiction or circumstances, I want you to aks yourself, ,,why do I feel a need to find a reason for this to be okay to be portrayed as romantic story" and do some self reflection. Remember, there is a limit to fiction. It's a different story when it's meant to be disturbing, and when it's being used as a romance trope, like here:)

Honestly I love this, like yes it's a toxic relationship but it's green flags and all the parts I want that aren't common. Like he doesn't ra** her once ni matter hoe desperate he is even though she's like cocaine to him. Then they're constantly like changing which is interesting to see. Getting worse then better, but it doesn't get any worse than the middle chapters even if they might backlaps a lot. Then they're super attached to each other which can just be super adorable, he acts like a super clingy big cat. Also he just does not understand human ethics he tries but he just can't. He will listen to her at least somewhat most of the time or at the very least try except a couple times when he was knocked up hard.

The ending I didn't even expect it until like the last 10 chapters not including that extra volume 9, it is a Happily Ever After. Honestly for volume 9 I recommend just skipping to the last chapter it that stupid stuff in it that you don't want to see. The only real thing I can complain about is there's like a lot of family by law/emotion but not blood sexual assault. It happens 3 freaking times and they're the only ones who do it except at the very beginning chapter. Like idk what's up with that.

The story is pretty much great but the ending doesn't serve justice for my question... "What exactly happened to ellie after the fire" but overall it's great

This is good not peak but good is it deserved 3.5 star but I will give a four for now
