This can be considered another masterpiiece by Ratana Satis.
A utopian/dystopian story which may let other mainstream novels and films come to mind. You can find a wide range of New-new Age knowledge, as well as food for thinking.
Are we hungry for immortality? Is it worth? Why should we seek it? How many time can we re-live the same life, again? Should be live our life due to our past or focused on new experiences? Do we learn from our mistakes?
In addition to all of those questions, are we ready to trascend and trust AI? What will happen to humanity? Can there be connection between humans and technology? Can AI begin to "feel" like human beings?
This story may not have the answers, but it certainly offers a possible outcome...
I don't believe it! This is so f*ck up, so twisted and yet one of the best stories I've ever read. The author do a amazing job of explaining why they are like this and it keep you hooked by every freaking scroll, you don't have chance to doubt what's going on because all is in your head is " what's next!?, how did they end up here?! WHAT HAPPENED?!". Seriously I have no other words to explain how this story makes me feel, ITS SIMPLY IN THE MOST F*CK UP WAY AMAZING.
PS: if you're fine with twisted stories where there's ra** involved and yet it's all in the name of love then this might be something you should read.
1.) we don't really know if they're blood related...
2.) they're parents often leaves them alone with each other...
(if they're blood related their parents just thinks they're pretty close... While if they're not then the reason why their parents keep leaving is that they're giving them an okay...)
Let's just hope they aren't blood related...
And also this is a manga/comics that we're talking about so we also don't know her actual age...
But I gotta draw a line sometimes. So this is a 3 stars, but on a low end of them. It's a 6+ on the Ivern Scale. Why? Ooooooh boy. Here we go.
Art? No. Style is too cartoony, to begin with, but the quality itself is also low.
Writing? Dear g** help us withstanding it. The translation adds insult to injury. In a word, worthless.
The action? It commits the worst sin a shonen can commit: being mediocre and boring, but inoffensive. Worse than luckwarm, actively sleep inducing. MC is very powerful. He swings sword very very hard yo. People die when he flails the thing, y'know. That's it.
Characterization? See, that's where I get disappointed. A lazy (read: PTSD-ridden) ex savior who tries to escape another god**** hero journey? Yes please! But the fuc**** execution is so fuc**** plain I can't even consider it an attempt. Again, with the "victim girl learns to live for herself" trope too: it could be mad interesting, and it is wasted. I genuinely like Riley's relationship with his mother, but once again it's more like the idea of it. Not what I actually got.
It's all very clumsy. It's a mixed reccomendation from yours truly. Passable, I'd guess, but only as a last resort if you have read literally everything else in the genre. Even then, good luck.

(its yaoi btw)
