Pretty good on Angel Buddy
It started off rather insignificant - cute guy meets angel, and they fall in love. Sometimes furthering of plot was hinted, but nothing really came of it. Still kept with it, something with the art and the sweetness kept me interested.
As it progresses though, heavier subject matters turns up, regarding death and not in the least suicide, and it got quite emotionally gripping towards the end, to my surprise. It kind of saved this story as a bit of a gem, well worth reading.
No sm**, but lots of skinship, so I didn't really miss it. The art was really good - the protagonist's eyes made my heart ache, at times.
Some of the uploaded scans were to small for my old, crummy eyes, but the same chapters are quite easily found in other places where it's not that squintily treated as here, should you need improved readability.
I would have given this three stars, but as it's labeled ”meh” I pushed it to four instead. It's not ”Meh”. This is passable, sweet even though not superb or anything.
